10 Things to Do in 2017 and Beyond

It’s officially 3 months into the new year. Are you a “New Year’s Resolution” maker or a goal setter? Have you run out of steam or gotten around to your new year’s resolutions as yet? Maybe you just made a list of things you want to do and misplaced it among your other to-do lists. If that’s the case, consider setting goals for yourself instead with deadlines to achieve them. Below are a few things to think about including on your journey to a better You (if you haven’t already):

1. Focus on the people who matter and are worth your time

2. Read more

3. Drop fake family/friends. Seek out and surround yourself with positive people who support you

4. Always work on improving yourself

5. Treat people the way you want to be treated

6. Laugh more

7. Take a trip or vacation (whether in or outside of your country)

8. Treat yourself regularly – self-care is important

9. Reduce stress as much as possible

10. Value your own opinion more than those of others

All doable, right? Some things will take more time than others, but the key is to start and go at your own pace. As the saying goes “If nothing changes, nothing changes.” I’m working on my goals. Are you on track with yours?
